Once again Moe's been documenting our adventures in Queen country, this time on a trip to the legendary BBC studio Maida Vale in London. A studio that's been host to the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Bing Crosby among others. We were invited to do an appearance on Rob da Bank's show on Radio 1, an electro swing special featuring Swing Zazou, The Correspondants, Dj Switch and us. And yes, the British know how to operate a studio! Big up's on the mobile monitor controllers!

We were invited to go to Shanghai and play at the closing of the Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo. Needless to say, we accepted. Here's a little pictorial post from the Far East:

This was pretty much the only English we saw. Lost in translation? Indeed.

Deep discussion concerning the state of the State over a great dinner and an epic jetlag.

The Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo. Recognize the stripes? Yes, that's the streets of Stockholm.

Walking the Expo is like walking the sickest architectural exhibit you've ever seen. Here, the English pavilion.

Backstage area at the Swedish Pavilion.

View from the Absolut bar on the roof of the Swedish Pavilion. Neon nights...

Here's a bit of contrast for y'all. Old town Shanghai fabric market...

...and Pudong financial district. The building on the far right which looks like a beer opener is the fifth tallest in the world.

And to top it off, a good ol' Chinese supper. Damn, this ain't "four small dishes"!
Zacke's debut album "Visst är det vackert" was released in United States this week, on the NYC based label 59 North Recordings. This excerpt is from the press release from this Tuesday:
NEW YORK, October 12, 2010 – Swedish rapper Zacke released his full length debut album “Visst Är Det Vackert” in the United States today on independent record label 59 North Recordings. Zacke’s “Visst Är Det Vackert” was first released to critical acclaim in Sweden in February 2010, but soon became an underground hit in the US, despite only being available as a $33 import CD. Zacke made his mark in the United States while on a nationwide tour with Movits! in January 2010. His video for “Spela Mig På Radion” has been viewed nearly 100,000 times on YouTube, and the song itself, which mocks Swedish radio for only playing American-sounding music, now – somewhat ironically – can be found on the radio in both Sweden and America alike.
